Tania Anderson Bio
After graduating from American University in Washington, D.C., with BA’s in Political Science and International Studies, Tania Anderson was hired by the iconic Pan American World Airways which set her on a course to explore six of the world’s continents. After Pan Am’s bankruptcy, Tania’s airline career expanded even more, to fly VIP charters, refugees, White House press charters, convicts, film crews, the military, pilgrims, medical transplant teams….. “everything” Tania admits, “except rendition flights!”
The ensuing stories and anecdotes from these diverse adventures begged to be told. This began while Tania was attending high school in England and documenting meticulous accounts of interaction with her extraordinary international classmates, many of whom were offspring of royals or celebrities. Tania has documented her most intriguing stories well, supplemented with previously unpublished photos.
Tania has been a member of the Screen Actors Guild for 23 years and has worked on TV shows and films. She returned to school and got her Certificate in Entertainment PR from UCLA.
The USAF awarded Tania the Civilian Desert Shield and Desert Storm medal for Outstanding Achievement. In 2021, Atlas Air presented Tania with a Certificate of Appreciation for serving in Operation Allies Refuge, bringing Afghani translators to America.
“On Butterflies’ Wings” is her first memoir and will be part of a series.
